Five Key Healthcare Reform Dates for Remainder of 2012

Under the terms of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), 2014 is poised to be a banner year for the American healthcare system. That’s because many of the highly anticipated provisions of the ACA—including expanded Medicaid coverage, the health insurance Exchange program, and the individual mandate—are scheduled to take effect at that time. While most healthcare stakeholders are primarily focused on the 2014 deadlines, there are a number of important healthcare reform dates on the horizon in 2012 that stakeholders should be aware of as well.
