Eighth Grade Book Club is a time that only eighth graders can come together and read books. Sophia Gamble, an eighth grade, said, “I like the eighth grade book club because there is more freedom to choose books,” Eighth Grade Book Club is held during lunch period. Right after the students eat they go to book club. Gamble loves that it is during lunch because if it was after school it could be a conflict with sports. The Eighth Grade Book Club just read The League of Lantern. Now, they are reading the book, Need. “The more people in book club the better because there are more point of views,” said Gamble. Mrs. Griffith would love to have more people join book club!
