The eighth grade students of the week this week were Eli Aubrey (Team 8-1), Katelyn Vaught (Team 8-2), and Trevor Harms (Team 8-2). “Eli has shown great increase in maturity from seventh to eighth grade. He is also responsible in class and manages his duties well," Mrs. Judy Manning, math teacher. Katelyn Vaught was the girl chosen from team two. The language arts teacher, Mrs.Amy Fry, said, “One of the big reasons why we chose Kate was because she is a go-getter and she is very helpful to other students.” Trevor was the other nominee for student of the week and the team two Social Studies teacher, Mr. Ryan Augustin, said, “Trevor always goes the extra mile to put in quality work.” Along with that, Mrs. Fry said, “Trevor is very conscientious of his work and gives 100 percent in class, and does a great job of following procedures.” Therefore, the traits of students of the week are hardworking, responsible, and helpful.
